  13. Strong blues sound behind this song. Draws out a bit more angst in Willie’s words that I can really relate to. I was just writing to someone on twitter that while doing “what your told to do” may seem like a necessity to some it is a form of mental slavery in my opinion. So nice to have an artist around these day’s that still writes from the heart and while they may be mega-hits, they will certainly give one cause to ponder greater things. I will also say I admire Willie’s stance on Marijuana. While most youngsters may think it’s all about the party, others of us believe it provides a state of mind that will allow us to think and feel at a much deeper level. Hard to argue with Mother Earth 🙂
