The Troutdale, Oregon show was so wonderful. The huge crowd at Edgefield Park stood for the whole concert, sang along to every song, and vowed they’d be fans forever. During the concert I spoke with one of the security guards who had been a fan of Dad’s since we lived in Portland in the 1950’s and Dad was a DJ in Vancouver on station KVAN. He said, “I always knew that every afternoon we were going to get to hear Hank Williams. He was a fantastic DJ.”
Thank you Troutdale for a beautiful day.
On the way, Aunt Bobbie was able to get this photo as we flew over Mt. Rainier.
