  2. You have made me sing when I was at the difficult time in my life.
I have often laugh when I heard a story about you….. that your wife beat you up when you were drunk……Thanks,

  3. I’m going to write myself a Letter this is a good place too. Think I’ll even mail it to see if it comes through. I don’t care if anybody sees it or not. Its the fun I’m having that means a lot. I thought that what this was about now I don’t have any doubt that I’m in the clear. Its only my best wishes not to have any fear. As I write this letter that means so much. My best hope is that I stay in touch. Now writing myself is easy to do because I’m easy to talk to WOW

  4. I just got Back from The Lukas Nelson Store and I know now their not as poor. I got a good deal and I spent some cash some more to listen to while I’m smoking my stash. Now my stash is pretty big and there not even a twig. two and a half gallon is all I got left, That will roll some number’s is my best bet. Glad to go shopping at your store everybody so friendly, I got a hoard. I’m going to send this in the mail so I get a letter so I can tell.

  6. One of the greatest singer/song writers
in the history of country music. Period.

    The Gershwin Award is well-deserved.

Mr. Nelson is a national treasure….

  7. WOW, I never knew that Jimmy & Willie were buds!! Both of these gentlemen are so sincere in their humility, religion and how they approach life and their world view. Of course they would have a friendship that has crossed the decades. Amazing & still so very Willie. Congrats.

  8. “Your music is the sound track of our lives”

Thank you and wish you good health

    Jude Fernando

  9. Dear Willi e, I have a great respect for all your work over the years. Since I started really listening to you some 30 years ago I have been inspired and at times amazed by your voice and musical structure and timing. I am 63 years old and have been a bassist since the age of 9. I have seen your live shows numerous times and was blown away. The closeness and artistry of your stage show are inspirational.. Besides playing bass for over 50 years I was taught by a great country singer how to back up a singer. I have a couple years of college music theory under my belt but mostly a gift for letting God make my art..I would love to be even a small part of your legacy. Life has left me in a rather difficult position. I have worked a lot of factory jobs and recently retired from the machinists u nion mostly because of the assholes I had to deal with. My SSA doesn’t pay the bills and I am single with 3 grown children..I know this is something you hear all the time and appolagize. Would love to meet you personally.Jim Elwyn.

  10. Wonderful honor for Willie!
    You deserve it.
Looking forward to your Springfield, Mo concert.
Met you many years ago in Sikeston at Mo State Fair when I was Mrs. Missouri 1985.
Still enjoying your music & books today!
