  3. A very warm congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gilcrease.
This may not be the best venue for me to propose an imposition. Growing up in Austin, I was amazed at how Willie would show up; like say at the Back Room, unbeknowonst to the general public and play a few tunes. It brings back good memories and instills a special kinship; if not one sided, was much appreciative. During the filming of the Yellow Rose at the Silver Dollar South: You and Jerry were walking out through the narrow hallway as I was coming in. The Look on your too faces was priceless. It was one of sure anxiety of which one I would address, Your eyeballs looking to pop from their sockets. I was on my way to see KT my sister(the one reading the book on the bus), for lunch and not serve a fraternity suit as your expression showed or whatever the two of you thought I was going to do .. There is going to be a reception for my daughter and my best friend’s son, ( 7th generation Texans) and if in the area and not burned out; You and Yours are welcome to stop by and celebrate what I hope will be a long and lasting union between to extremely down to earth intelligent people. Both Dads still can’t figure how we’d did that! Anyway, KT, MIss June Wylie, Krystalyn, Bran the rest of the reception party will be forever in your debt. People remember others not so much by what they say; but as to the way they make them feel. Thank you for your consideration JR Gates
No drama, no issues, just a Texas celebration of a new beginning and a continuing of Tradition..
    as it should be.
